The XLPD groundhog is manufactured by DOK-ING out of Croatia. It is a low-profile robotic machine that is designed to work in hazardous conditions, particularly in the mining and construction industries. The company’s safety-focused slogan “Don’t send a man to do a machine’s job” promotes substituting the need for workers to be near unsafe areas lowering injuries while also increasing productivity.
Previously, the versatile machine could be equipped with a blade, sweeper, or conventional bucket attachment. However, Certified is the first to be offering a new configuration with a .7 m3 ejector bucket and counterweights to balance the machine. This updated configuration enables the machine to operate in even tighter areas, as it does not require the dumping clearance of a conventional bucket. This impressive machine packs 88hp in a frame that is only 11’ 4” long, 4’ 6” wide, 2’ 9” tall, and weighs in at just under 9,000lbs not including the attachments or counterweights.
